Truitt Bros. has made a deep commitment to the marriage of commercial food production and culinary excellence. Through our extensive research and development department, Truitt Bros. is a leader in shelf stable packaging and product development.

We have expertise in Entrées, Soups, Bases, Rice, Side Dishes and Desserts - with more than 200 new shelf stable products currently in the marketplace, including a wide variety of organic products.

Our R&D staff has developed customized formulations for controlled diets, low carb, high protein and just plain good items and many other formats that require special formulation.

We received a rating of SUPERIOR from AIB for 2006-2007.

Pears
Truitt Bros. prides itself in supplying the best quality pears in North America.

We have the highest number of sorters and on line QA inspectors in the industry. Our product grades are assigned hourly (on a pallet by pallet basis) rather than by shift - so we minimize wide variation in quality.

But the real secret to our high quality pears is our growing region - the Pacific Northwest.

The Pacific Northwest's climate offers ideal growing conditions for pears. The Truitt Bros.' Northwest product has better color (bright and clean rather than yellow faded cast), character (not grainy ... gritty) and shape (tall and shapely) than pears grown in other regions. Truitt Bros.' Northwest pears are firm, so they hold up well on salad bar lines or in buffet applications.

Citrus Flavored Pears
Northwest Bartlett Pears are North America's most flavorful pear. Truitt Bros. has combined the natural flavor of Bartlett Pears with the refreshing taste of citrus to create a delightfully unique dessert or side dish.

All our cherries are grown in the Northwest. Because of the growing conditions in the Northwest, these cherries are much larger and more flavorful than cherries grown in other parts of the United States.
