Over the past 30 years, Truitt Bros. has become one of the leaders in producing custom shelf stable entrées, side dishes, bases and desserts for contract customers. In fact, our complete staff of Food Technologists has formulated hundreds of products for some of the most recognized food companies in the country.

We're more than just R&D, however. We're also leading the charge in food safety and quality assurance with our full-time QA staff - those people who ensure that your (and our) high standards of quality and safety are met. Our plants are FDA regulated, USDA inspected, and we process a wide variety of organic products. We received a rating of SUPERIOR from AIB for 2006-2007.

Our plants offer a diverse family of packing capabilities designed to suit our customers' varied needs. From metallized pouches to a wide variety of trays and bowls, we have the resources to fulfill your unique packing requirements.

To further accommodate the growth and demand we’re experiencing in the prepared meals segment and add a location closer to our Eastern U.S. customers, we are currently in the process of remodeling the former Gordon Food Service distribution facility, located on U.S. Highway 25, north of London, Kentucky. This new facility is slated to be up and running by the end of 2008 and is an exciting addition to our already expansive state-of-the-art production capabilities.
